Yer I work in Worcester UK, started when the grey knights and tomb kings came out, I stopped playing gw when they changed the rules for fantasy, then went into historics

I stopped playing GW because they changed my army's rules, I've got a fully painted 43,000pt fantasy chaos army, when I figured out the cost and time to make my army fit with the army book I stopped........ Enough was enough lol,
played warmachine for a while but it got silly.
I now play, battle lore, project z, brimestone, and the D&D box games,onus,

The army it's self was not that expensive, because I had the old staff discount, 50% in store or pay by weight from mailorder, I was paying 23p per sprew, my last staff order came to £200, and it came in 6 box's lol....... It was the time and love I put into it that hurt, changing it felt like vandalism

I miss the days when things are changed to make them better, no its about selling more stuff, engineer in me I guess

That's why they got rid of us terrain makers, I used to run a terrain workshop on Sundays , approx 10-15 attendies mainly moms and dads turned up. They stopped it just before they released there terrain sets

43,000 pt army!!! All my painted imperial forces only comes up to 20,000 and I thought that was alot!!!

I made a point to stick to 4th edition rules. However I've not fielded an army in 18 years!!!

I haven't played GW since 2005,
